Communications Committee

The Communications Committee seeks opportunities to make the League’s work more visible in our community. The Committee has its hands in all aspects of our organization. We’re always ready to welcome new volunteers to help spread the word.

VOTER SERVICES COMMITTEE

The primary goal of Voter Services is to encourage people to Be a Voter. As a first step in that process, we register people at community events, schools, and colleges. We develop materials to inform voters about our safe and secure elections and our nonpartisan candidate forums.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

The Membership Committee recruits and supports members in the local League. Despite its name, the League of Women Voters is open to everyone 16 years and older.

COMMITTEE MEETINGS

We meet on Zoom the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. We are always working to diversify our membership and create an inclusive space, to show up for community events sponsored by groups we partner with, and to develop our Program of Work: Speak Out Against Hate: A Focus on Equity and Inclusion.
