The LWVWA Convention will be held virtually between June 23 and June 28.
The LWVWA Board is recommending a two-year Program of Work around:
• Adoption by Concurrence of Criminal Justice Position.
• Washington’s Public Hospital Districts and Their Role in Addressing Unmet Healthcare Needs.
• Addressing the Decline of Local Newspapers on Our Democracy
There are other proposals such as Tree Canopy, DEI Strategy, and Counteracting Disinformation/Finding Reliable Information that are not being recommended by the LWVWA Board.
