Jill has been a journalist, a reporter for the United Nations, Executive Director of the World Affairs Council in Seattle and a speechwriter for two governors.
She writes books and other materials for state agencies and private companies. She is the author of the League's civic education textbook: The State We're In: Washington. Your guide to state, tribal and local government. She is the recent President of Ponza, the group who has helped develop Quixote Village so that about 30 chronically homeless people can move from living in tents to safe and secure housing.
