A Community Conversation on The Vote! Past, Present, and Future will feature Mary Hall, Thurston County Auditor. She will start us off with background information – how the vote came to be, who got to vote and who didn’t, and what it currently looks like in both our state and nation. This will be followed with discussion among all participants. Join others, of all ages and stages, as we talk about the future of the vote -- what it will be like and what we have to do to assure that all are able, and willing, to vote.
Attendees will be asked why they think people don’t vote and what do they see as the possible impediments to voting They will also be asked what sources they use to decide who to vote for and whether the issues that candidates stand on are important to them.
Light refreshments will be served.
